Productivity and Accountability Coach
Dr. Emma Fraser Pendleton is an experienced Productivity and Accountability Coach, award-winning author, ordained minister, international speaker and , top achieving educator, with 30 years of proven success in both the public and private school arena. Her latest book, “Transformation by Design,” will be released in the Fall of 2016, and “Finding Your Penguin” will be published in 2017.
She recently completed two years as the host for the weekly conference call from her Fire & Ice Series: Relationships from the Bedroom to Boardroom.
Emma spent thirteen of her formative years in toxic foster homes where she survived the trauma of being a child subject to extreme physical and emotional abuse. Nevertheless, she has left those years behind and stands as a role model of resilience, determination, and belief in God’s power to change one’s “scars to stars, tragedy to triumph, and mess to miracles.”
As a motivational speaker she has spoken in multiple forums on topics related to education, leadership development, living the purpose-driven life, group dynamics, and women’s issues. Her unique style of delivery and her ability to expound on a wide variety of social and academic issues make her a sought after speaker by business organizations, youth groups, educational institutions, civic and religious organizations. Dr. Pendleton, has appeared on radio and television speaking to the issues of domestic violence, women’s rights and urban education. She is most known for her charismatic and dynamic style of presentation.
Highlights of her career and public service include: Designing and implementing a self-esteem program for women living in shelters. Her awards include: The 2016 Power Networking, Phenomenal Women’s Award, The Distinguished Black Women award, by BISA (Black Women in Sisterhood for Action), The Barnes Historical Society, Queens Legend Award, The Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Award, and the E.C. Reems Women’s International Ministries Award, New York Chapter, for Dedication and Service to Women in Ministry.
Emma is also the recipient of several prestigious scholarships. In l989, she was awarded a full academic Fellowship to the Harvard Graduate School of Education. In l990 she was awarded an additional Fellowship by the Ford Foundation to continue her studies at Harvard. During her residency at Harvard, Emma served as a teaching fellow; adjunct member of the faculty. She was also an advisor to the Dean’s Advisory Council, Secretary to the Black Student’s Union, and a noted panelist on the International Forum of Changing Trends in Education.

Dr. Pendleton is the former tenured Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum for the Port Washington School District and Project Manager for TurnAround for Children. As a project director she served as a leadership mentor for administrators and trained school teams on how to address the social, emotional and academic needs of at-risk students in the most challenging schools in New York City.
